2 stage rotary screw air compressor

Screw air compressors are commonly used air compression equipment in the industrial field, widely applied in various industries such as manufacturing, construction, transportation, and more. In screw air compressors, single-stage compression and air compressor 2 stage are two common types of compression methods.

The twin screw air compressor divides the original single-stage compression process into two stages through a series configuration. This setup reduces the compression ratio for each individual stage, decreasing internal leakage and thus improving volumetric efficiency, which effectively increases the air delivery volume significantly.

Moreover, by lowering the compression ratio, the resistance encountered by the screws during meshing and compression at each stage is reduced. The decrease in working resistance during compression means less load on the bearings at each stage, reducing the power required to drive the compression process. This also greatly extends the service life of the bearings.

For these reasons, two-stage compression permanent magnet screw air compressors offer far superior energy-saving effects compared to single-stage compression permanent magnet screw compressors.
